Question 3

Does the app contain ads or in-app purchases?

Accepted Answer

No. The app is free to download, contains no advertisements, and offers no in-app purchases. You can use its shopping and rewards features without any embedded ads or paid add-ons.

Question 4

Can I use the app offline or does it need data?

Accepted Answer

The app requires an internet connection for most features, such as browsing the weekly flyer, checking inventory, and tracking orders. It uses your location and camera for store locator and barcode scan functions, so data or Wi-Fi is needed for live updates.

Question 5

Are there other apps in the same shopping category?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many shopping apps exist that offer flyer browsing, rewards programs, and product searches. However, this app is specifically tied to Canadian Tire's store, Triangle Rewards, and Canadian Tire Money, so alternatives may not provide the same in-store integration or earn rates.

What permissions does the app request?

Accepted Answer

The app requests Location and Camera permissions. Location helps you find nearby stores and Gas+ locations, while Camera enables barcode scanning for product information. These are used for core shopping features.

Question 7

What is the app's size and compatibility?

Accepted Answer

The app is about 33 MB and requires Android 8.0 or higher. It has been rated 4.59 out of 5 by over 108,000 users, with more than 5 million installs.
